I am a former entertainment industry veteran. Currently my practice is focused on leadership, executive and personal development coaching, and brand consulting.
As an entertainment industry veteran, I’ve represented award winning performers, celebrities, and thought leaders, creating livelihood, inspiring growth, and fulfilling potential. As an executive I have 30 years of experience collaborating with and mentoring successful, high performing teams.
As a consultant and coach, I help high performance individuals discover how to harness what distinguishes them, and further cultivate what makes them exceptional. Together, we uplevel the “next” in their professional lives and careers.
I have spoken on the subject of women in business and business development. I have facilitated numerous workshops and forums on the significance of how performance is impacted by how we use our most important resource- energy.
I believe our stories are a significant currency for connecting with others. Through the empowerment of discovering we are more connected than we appear to be, and we are stronger than we know.
I am the author of three books, feature articles and essays.
"The Spin Cycle" - My debut novel was inspired by millions of people with disabilities whose beauty, strength, potential, and contributions are often invisible, overlooked, or misunderstood. Too often, they are defined by a misguided court of onlookers, whose perception begins with their limitations. For my son, and every person whose life has been shaped by disability, I was curious why, in media at large, we see so few protagonists with disabilities.
Bringing this work to readers of all ages and abilities became my passion and my purpose.
I don’t know how far Benji, and his story will travel, but the possibilities for him and his friends are endless. In the story, Bo asks Benji early on, “Are you a giver or a taker?”
Am I a giver or a taker? Probably both. Above all, I am a storyteller. I’d like to believe that I have taken this story of love, loyalty, and friendship, and given it the strength it needs to endure and thrive — in a world that is not always easy, kind, or even comprehensible —and that by doing so, I will keep asking the hard questions, and ask others to do the same.
“Just Who We Are" – my story of grace, grit and identity” (Incorgnito Press – spring 2021) is a memoir which explores the themes of identity and how we are all imperfect and exceptional as we forge our lives from our stories - becoming who we are.
My first book “There’s Something About Daniel” – (2010) documents my love for my son, and the first 18 years of his life which began with the uncertainty of a rare syndrome. For us, limitation led us to liberation. Daniel is proof that “the only true disability is a broken spirit.”
Robyn currently resides with her puppy Stella Luna, in New York City and Cape Cod, Mass.
I received my BA in creative writing and literature from NYU. I am an ICF certified coach, as well as having been certified in the course work from the Center for Non-Violent Communication and The Landmark Forum.
