Robyn Stecher is an author and former entertainment industry executive who spent 40 years in the business before leaving in 2022 to focus on writing and consulting. A graduate of New York University, where she studied literature and creative writing, Robyn also holds multiple professional coaching certifications.
She lived in New York City for 50 years, where she built her career, before recently relocating to Boston. She is the author of three books: The Spin Cycle, a contemporary adult novel published in March 2026 that explores friendship, love, identity, and the ways people are too often defined by others’ perceptions of their limitations; Just Who We Are: My Story of Grace, Grit and Identity (Incognito Press, 2021); and There’s Something About Daniel (2010), a memoir about her son and their journey navigating the uncertainties of a rare syndrome.
Robyn’s writing reflects a lifelong curiosity about people, their stories, and the unexpected connections that reveal our shared humanity. She is also the founder of Artemis Rising, a coaching and consulting practice that helps individuals develop their thought leadership and discover their next chapter.
Robyn lives in Boston and enjoys spending time with family on Cape Cod.
